Apple is ready to open pre-bookings for its latest flagship smartphones in India. The iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max will be available for pre-order from September 12, giving Indian buyers the first opportunity to secure Apple’s newest Pro models before they officially go on sale on September 18.
The new iPhone 18 Pro series was unveiled by Apple on September 9 alongside the company’s first foldable iPhone, the iPhone Duo, as well as the Apple Watch Series 12, Apple Watch Ultra 4 and AirPods 5. India is among the first-wave markets for the new Pro models, so Indian customers will not have to wait weeks after the international launch.
For buyers planning to pre-book the iPhone 18 Pro directly from Apple, the most important detail is the timing. Pre-orders will open at 5:30 PM IST on September 12, 2026, through the Apple Store website and Apple Store app. The phones will then officially become available from September 18.
Reliance Digital has also confirmed its own pre-booking schedule. Customers will be able to reserve the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max from September 12 at 5:30 PM, both online and through Reliance Digital stores across India. Sales and deliveries are scheduled to begin on September 18 at 8 AM.
That means customers have multiple options if they want to get Apple’s latest Pro iPhone as early as possible.
Apple will accept pre-orders through its official online store and app, while customers can also use authorised retail channels. Apple Stores in India, including Apple BKC in Mumbai and Apple Saket in Delhi, will begin in-store sales from September 18. Other authorised retailers are also expected to offer the phones from the same launch date.
The pricing, however, is likely to be the biggest consideration for Indian buyers.
The iPhone 18 Pro starts at ₹1,64,900 for the 256GB model. The 512GB version costs ₹1,89,900, while the 1TB variant is priced at ₹2,39,900. The highest-capacity 2TB model reaches ₹3,14,900.
The iPhone 18 Pro Max starts at ₹1,79,900 for 256GB. The 512GB version costs ₹2,04,900, the 1TB model is priced at ₹2,54,900 and the 2TB variant costs ₹3,29,900.
Apple is offering the iPhone 18 Pro in four colours: Black, Silver, Glacier and Burgundy. The Burgundy finish is the new colour option that gives this year’s Pro lineup a distinct visual identity.
The higher price also reflects the number of upgrades Apple has packed into the new Pro models.
One of the biggest changes is the camera system. The iPhone 18 Pro features a new 48MP Fusion Main camera with variable aperture, giving users greater control over how much light enters the lens and how much depth of field appears in photographs.
